Radisson SAS Hotel Dubai Media City Opening of Second Tower PDF Print E-mail

The new building comprises 125 rooms and suites - it is connected via a bridge to the first tower which is operational since January 2006 and offers 121 rooms and suites. The expansion in Dubai increases the total number of new Rezidor-rooms opened in 2007 to 1.952. Between 2007 and 2009, Rezidor (STO:REZT) will add 20.000 rooms to its portfolio.

 

'Our strategic location being the only major hotel operating inside Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City has greatly helped in shaping our business performance,' says Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of The Rezidor Hotel Group. 'We look forward to establishing this property further as a meeting and events hotel and being the place to be seen at in Media City.' The Middle East is one of the most important development regions for The Rezidor Hotel Group - the company will open new hotels of all brands there during the next years.

Tower two of the Radisson SAS Hotel also offers a new venue - 'Chef's House' - for breakfast lunch and dinner serving Oriental-Asian cuisine. The restaurant is an extension of the grand lobby area and will have interactive live cooking stations featuring an Oriental grill, Indian tandoor oven and the Asian wok.
